I've decided that what I'm going to do for the lettering of the company name is to print it out at various sizes and see which one looks best (trying to get it as big as possible). Then I'm going to eyeball copy it using a brush and some white acrylic paint. I will measure it out a bit to keep it straight and proportionate, of course, but it won't be a tracing.
In the end, I want this thing to look just a little insane. It needs to reduce well, however. Hopefully, when it's the size of a business card, it will look totally insane! And thanks to laser printing, I should be able to get pretty fine in the finished product. I imagine, though, that I'll need to do a certain amount of PhotoShopping of the file that's to go to print, just to make sure.
If I can get the right mix of expressiveness and ridiculous detail, people should want to keep the business card just have a piece of good art.
The back of the card will be printed like a traditional text only calling card, with my name, my email address and one other bit of information on it.
